Story Box Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. These terms will tell you who we are, how we will provide our services, how to change or end the contract between us, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
By purchasing a class or entertainment package from you, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.

Story Box Drama is a trading name for sole trader, Sian Thomas - independent Speech & Language Therapist and Drama Practitioner. This website (www.storyboxdrama) is owned and operated by us. You can contact us by calling 07534468143 or emailing email@example.com.
Booking a class
Once you have registered your interest in our class, an email confirmation will be sent from 'Story Box Drama (firstname.lastname@example.org)'. A second email from email@example.com will be sent containing further details and an invoice, which will be due the day of your free trial class, if you decided to join us for the term. Please check your junk mail for these emails.
Can I attend a class on a drop-in basis?
At Story Box, we do not currently offer a drop-in service and bookings for the term will be on a first come first served bases
What happens if I am unable to attend a class?
All bookings will be at The Abbey Theatre, St. Albans at your chosen time. We apologise but we are generally unable to offer refunds for missed classes
What happens if the class leader is unable to run a class?
If I am unable to run a class, then compensation will be offered in the form of a rescheduled catch-up class at the same venue at the end of the half-term block. Dates will be advised of this in your welcome email and confirmed by your class leader.
If customers are unable to attend the re-scheduled catch-up class, a refund will be issued
Siblings & additional adults
We may be able to accommodate siblings, please contact me to discuss this further.
We welcome adult visitors to enjoy the class from chairs at the side. Please arrange this in advance of your session to ensure adequate space is available
Illness policy in venue-based classes
If you have any symptoms of being unwell, we ask that you do not attend your Story Box class that week. Please contact me if your child's illness results in long term loss of sessions
Photographs on Social Media
During our classes we may take pictures for use on our social media platforms. Customers are asked for their permission at registration. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you would prefer that you or your child are not photographed, and we will ensure these picture/s are not shared. You are welcome to take photos of your own child only during our sessions, but strongly recommend that phones and other devices are used at a minimum to ensure maximum participation and enjoyment
We apologise that we are unable to offer refunds once the course has been paid for, so please ensure you've checked the dates of our classes carefully and agree to our terms and conditions. Exceptions may be made in some circumstances, so please contact us on 'firstname.lastname@example.org' to discuss further
Abbey Theatre terms and conditions
Please don't park in the theatre's private car park. There is now a £1 charge for the first two hours in the public car park
Please leave prams and pushchairs in the outer foyer (does not apply to wheelchairs)
Please use the nappy bin provided in the disabled access toilet or take soiled nappies etc. away with you
Please respect other users of the theatre building who may be here at the same time, including the box office operator who may be on the phone
Please leave the Club Room, foyer and toilets as you would wish to find them
Party bookings and Events
Please fill out the application form for parties via the website link. An email will be sent from 'email@example.com' will follow to confirm availability.
If confirmed, a 30% non-refundable deposit will be required within 2 weeks to confirm your date. The remaining balance will be required one week before the date of your event. If you cancel the event within one week, no refunds will be issued but we can reschedule to another date
